American Golf Supplies offers a One-Year Limited Warranty on all ECCO footwear purchased through one of our accounts. American Golf Supplies reserves the right to inspect any product for determination of a no cost repair or replacement. ECCO’s One-Year Limited Warranty covers the following:
- Stitching
- All hardware – eyelets, hooks, buckles and ornaments
- Quality of leather – inconsistencies resulting in premature wear patterns
- GORE-TEX guaranteed to be waterproof for the lifespan of the product
- Attachment of soles to upper and of components of soles to one another
- Durability of outsole – will not deteriorate, crack, or split under normal wearing conditions
The following are NOT Covered under ECCO’s One-Year Limited Warranty:
- Material failure caused by excessive wear, unreasonable use, exposure to caustic chemicals, extreme heat, alterations, or abnormal wear related to occupation
- Leather damaged by the use of clean, care and protect products produced by other manufacturers
- Stitching or hardware failure due to being caught, hooked, snagged or other abnormal wearing accidents
- Normal wear and tear from use is expected and is not covered by warranty. Lack of reasonable care for shoes and accessories is not covered under warranty
- Leather not properly treated to keep from drying out
- GORE-TEX failure due to complete submersion in water or allowing the water to seep over the top of the footwear
- Separation of soles or sole components due to being caught, hooked, snagged or cut
- Normal wear on soles or heels due to individual wear patterns, or heavy wear associated with occupation
- Poor fit or incorrect size selection
- Items which have been repaired / altered without the expressed consent of ECCO
- Washing of shoes or leather accessories in a machine or by any method that submerges/soaks the leather. In addition, it is not recommended to use laundry detergent or soap as this can remove the softening agents and may cause the leather to become hard, to shrink or may cause colour bleeding/dye transfer
Shoe Laces
- Laces should be carefully removed from your shoes and hand-washed, using ECCO foam cleaner and water to gently work the areas of dirt with your fingertips
- Once clean, laces should be rinsed with cold water and placed on a drying rack in a shaded and well-ventilated area.
- Allow ample time for laces to fully dry before returning them to your shoes
We do not recommend washing your laces in the washing machine, however, if this is your choice, ensure you use a suitable washing/garment bag. Machines with advanced settings should be set on a delicate cycle, with laces washed in cold water with minimal agitation. Laces washed in a washing machine will not be covered under warranty.
